SSC MTS Exam

The Officials of the Staff Selection commission Of India are going to conduct an Exam in the Month of February 2015 for the Recruitment of Suitable candidates on the Posts of Multi Tasking Staff in their Department. This is the Exam which is conducted every year by the officials of the SSC. This year also, the Exam will be conducted but the Official Notification for this Exam has not been released yet and it is expected to be released in the Month of November, 2014. SSC MTS Recruitment Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2015

The Candidates who will apply successfully for this Recruitment will be eligible to appear in the Written Exam for this Exam which will consist of Two Papers and the Candidates will have to attend both the Papers if they wish to get recruited.

The Paper-1 will be an Objective type paper which will be focused mainly to check the General Intelligence of the Applicant. There will also be some Questions based On Numerical Aptitude, General Awareness & General English but the Level of these Questions will be so low that it will be very easy for any matriculate to answer these.

The Paper-2 will be of Descriptive Type and it will be set in English as well as Hindi Language.  It will be aimed to check the Writing Skill of the candidate in any language of his Choice. The candidates will have to write some Essays and Letters in this Paper.

SSC MTS Exam Syllabus Paper-1:

General Intelligence: It will Include Questions based on similarities and differences, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, relationship concepts, space visualization, figure classification, discriminating observation, arithmetical number series, nonverbal series etc.

English Language: It Include Questions based on vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms etc.

Numerical Aptitude: It Include Questions based on Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Mensuration, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Discount, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, use of Tables and Graphs, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.

General Awareness: It Include Questions based on Current Events, Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution and Scientific Research etc

SSC MTS Exam Syllabus Paper-II:

The Paper will be set in English and Hindi and to the extent possible in other languages mentioned in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution, to test basic language skills commensurate with the educational qualification prescribed for the post. Candidates will be required to write one short essay/letter in English and Hindi each. Candidates can opt to write the essay/letter in any Indian languag included in the 8th schedule of Constitution.
